Reading Readiness and Phonics

The fifth unit provides a review and practice of all learned phonological awareness skills. Students will be introduced to the most complex reading skill so far: comparing and contrasting the adventures and experiences of familiar characters. Lastly, students will celebrate how they are becoming stronger readers and writers.
